This is a simple, lightweight, and durable swing designed for small birds like budgies, parakeets, and lovebirds.
It is designed to be printed quickly and uses very little material, making it a perfect scrap-filament project.
⚙️ Print Settings & Recommendations
- Material: PLA is recommended (It is generally rigid and easy to print).
- Weight: Extremely lightweight model, consumes only ~10g of filament.
- Supports: Yes, supports are required for the overhangs.
✂️ Post-Processing Tip Since the model requires supports, removing them cleanly is important for your bird's safety.
- Recommendation: Use a pair of nippers (side cutters) to carefully snip away the support structures.
- Optional: You can quickly pass a file or sandpaper over the perch area to ensure it's perfectly smooth.
