Description

This is the thirty fourth day of a project to make every mini in the 2014 Monster Manual for my friend who is planning a gauntlet game - we will be fighting every monster in it!

I'll be doing one monster a day until it's done. Follow the collection and my page to see how they turn out!

These are made using Makerlab's Image to 3D model, and then tidied up in Blender.

Boost Me (for free)

Boost to skip your favourite monster to the top of the queue!

Today's monster is the weird octo-bat, the Darkmantle!

Waiting to ambush anything they come across in the Underdark, these octopi-bats will surprise any not paying attention

This model is scaled to fit a 25mm base - but can be altered in the slicer to suit your needs.

Please take care when rescaling that the parts are thick enough to print.

A no base stl is included if you want to base it yourself in a modelling program.

Please take care removing supports, especially on the tentacles. Hold the top of the model when removing supports, not the base.

Snipping the supports is a good idea.

Remember, superglue works magic!

Pictured grid is 2cm X 2cm.

Weird artifacts fixed on this model:

  • Added an eye that was missing
  • Added the support base

I have lots of models for you to print:

Happy gaming!
