Description
Great Wall Castles
Great Wall Castles are a core component of China's Great Wall defense system, primarily built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), serving as military strongholds, garrison camps, and command centers. Together with the city walls, watchtowers, and beacon towers, they formed a multi-layered defense system of 'passes and forts'.
