Description

Thank you for your support! If you like our family's designs - you can sell the physical prints through a paid Patreon membership:

Let this fully cool after print (you can remove from the build plate) and rotate the hinges – NOT the pin – and then press the pin between your fingers to break the supports (don’t twist the pin – see image below). If you have filament and settings dialed in you can also gently twist the pin until you feel a little resistance (do not over twist), then twist the other way gently until it fully loosens. The hinges should move just fine. The more you play with it, the more it will loosen. PLA will work great. Some filaments will allow movement right after the print.  If you have issues, please contact me and happy to help.

🍀 Lucky Clover Slider + Flip Fidget 🍀

Feeling lucky? You will be. This four-leaf clover slider + flip fidget is packed with more motion than a leprechaun on espresso ☘️

Flip it. Slide it. Twirl it. Rotate it. Twist it. Let it slip through your fingers smoother than a pot of gold disappearing at the end of the rainbow

Designed as a clean print-in-place model, this lucky charm prints in a single color in about 35 minutes—faster than you can say “Top o’ the mornin’!”

Perfect for:

  • St. Patrick’s Day party favors
  • Desk luck all year long
  • Fidgeting while hunting for your next rainbow
  • Anyone who believes in shamrocks, shenanigans, and smooth spins

More Robust Pin (0.16mm layer)
Fun print. My first try was the original size. A layer in the middle messed up and it was a failure. I printed it again and sized down to 75%. No issues and fits nicely in my pocket.

Hello, They look great and thanks for the nice comment — glad it worked. I’ve never had luck scaling these down due to the tolerances so I’m glad it worked for you. Thank you for the rating too! So I've always printed your flipper fidgets and Im planning on printing a bunch of these as party favors for our annual St paddys dinner and I printed two plates of the "more robust pin" profile and it seems like they are seized up. when I try to spin them, it feels like Im just going to twist the filament to break it. (I broke two already) any advice to loosen that up and or break it free so they dont break?

Hi Matuna, This is strange - the pin design and profile is identical for this and all the prior ones. Definitely don't force it. Did you happen to change type or brand of filament? I know the Bambu basic PLA (and matte) seems to work the best. I did post a new technique to free the pin which seems to work really well. Here is what I recommend: Let this fully cool after print (which you did it sounds like) and rotate the hinges – NOT the pin – and then press the pin between your fingers to break the supports (don’t twist the pin – see image below). I am also including a video from another one of our fidgets. Let me know if this works and if I can help troubleshoot with anything else.

Great, glad it worked! I have heard other filaments are more sensitive and have issues so this is another data point. Either way, I’m happy they worked.
