Description
This is a custom-designed gearbox for 1:16 scale RC tanks. It is the designated drive unit for the Abrams model and all future tanks in this series. The gearbox is designed for flexibility and can be operated with both 370 and 380 size motors; two matching pinion gears for the different shaft diameters are included. The gear reduction ratio is 1:69. The output shaft diameter is compatible with standard Heng Long tank gearboxes.

I've linked both motor options below, but I recommend the 380; it spins a bit slower and handles better. I used the ESC that came with the kit, but I suspect any ESC will work as long as the specs match the motor and battery.
Verion 2.0
The instructions remain the same, but the gear teeth are now angled. Here's a picture of the gear arrangement in case there are any complications, as the angled teeth need to align with each other.
