The Screaming Man bust

Commonly referred to as “The Screaming Man” (sometimes described in scholarship as a screaming or shouting warrior). This bust embodies the Hellenistic fascination with human extremes—the moment where physical strain and emotional collapse meet.

This sculpture is housed in the Capitoline Museums in Rome, Italy.  It is part of their extensive holdings of Roman copies after Greek masterpieces.
