FERM Combitool Box – Improved Fit & Hinges (Remix)
Print Profile(1)

Description
This project is a remix of the box for FERM Combitool designed to improve its practical use and compatibility with actual tool sets, by intervening on some dimensional and functional aspects of the original model
The changes introduced are the result of direct tests in printing and daily use
Modifications made
- Rectified hinge pins
The pins have been resized to facilitate insertion into their seats and reduce friction during assembly
The pin geometry was taken from the FERM Cordless Soldering Iron Case project by Dynarun, used as a dimensional reference - Added multitool silhouette
Inside the box, a dedicated silhouette for the FERM multitool has been integrated, with the aim of improving its stability during transport and preventing unwanted movements - Rectification of tool hole diameter
The original holes were undersized for many standard inserts. The diameter has been revised to ensure greater compatibility with most commercial sets - Insertion of a brand-inspired logo
A graphic element inspired by the FERM visual identity has been added, maintaining a sober style consistent with the box's design
Print notes
The model is designed to be printed without supports, maintaining the same settings recommended by the original project
It is advisable to check tolerances based on your printing setup
Credits

- Hinge pins: remixed, taking the FERM Cordless Soldering Iron Case project by Dynarun as a reference
