Description
This throwing knife is designed for target practice and balance testing. With an overall length of 180 mm, it offers a stable, controlled, and repeatable throwing experience.
The design combines a clean blade profile with lightweight cutouts in the handle, giving it a modern training-tool appearance. The geometry is simple on purpose — this model focuses on flight stability and consistent balance.
The knife features a neutral, well-centered center of gravity, making it comfortable to throw both by the blade and by the handle, depending on your technique and distance. The balance allows smooth rotation and predictable impact behavior.
Safety Notice
This is a 3D-printed practice knife, but it can still cause injury.
Never throw at people or animals.
Use only with proper targets and in a safe, controlled environment

🛠️Before You Start Printing
Before printing, give the bed a quick clean 🧽 — good adhesion = better first layer and accurate geometry.
Use dry filament (wet filament loves to pop, string, and ruin dimensions).
When using my MakerWorld profiles, make sure the selected material matches what you’re actually printing. Different materials shrink and behave differently — the wrong profile can mean wrong dimensions.
Also, my STL files are designed and dimensioned for PLA. If you print them in PETG, you may need to slightly rescale the model to compensate for different shrinkage.
Clean bed. Dry filament. Correct material. Done 😄
