When there is only a little filament left on the spool it starts to hop this is prevented

Greetings, and regrettably no, if I aim to preserve the AMS motors from undue strain. A concise explanation: The Bambu Lab AMS is precisely engineered for a specific spool diameter, namely that of their proprietary Bambu Spools. De facto, the motor speed is meticulously calibrated for the winding of Bambu Spools, as circumference is determined by multiplying the diameter by Pi. Should you calculate the circumference of a standard Bambu Spool versus a smaller alternative, you will undoubtedly observe that the smaller spool rotates at a significantly increased velocity. ;-) Consequently, the filament retraction mechanism is unable to maintain adequate synchronization, resulting in a noticeable oscillation of the spool
