Description

No space for a nightstand? No problem.

This bed-mounted bedside table for IKEA MALM attaches directly to the bed frame edge, giving you a solid and reliable surface exactly where you need it.

Built to be seriously strong, this is not a wobbly tray — it’s a proper mini table. Perfect for your phone, book, glasses, water, alarm clock, or that one random thing you always need within arm’s reach.

The table mounts using 3 screws, creating a secure and stable connection to the bed frame. Once installed, it stays put — no flex, no drama, no midnight accidents.

To keep your essentials in place, the tabletop features a 4 mm raised edge on the front and one side, helping prevent items from sliding off.

This model was originally created for a friend who needed a sturdy bedside surface without adding a full nightstand. It turned out great, so I’m uploading it here — maybe someone else will like it or find it useful too.

Designed specifically for MALM beds, it blends in cleanly while adding practical storage space without cluttering your bedroom.

Available Sizes:

  • 250 × 250 mm – full bedside mode
  • 175 × 175 mm – compact but powerful

Features:

  • Designed for IKEA MALM bed frame
  • Mounts on the bed edge
  • Installation with 3 screws
  • Extremely strong and stable construction
  • 4 mm raised edge (front + one side)
  • Clean, minimal design
  • Space-saving solution

🛠️Before You Start Printing

Before printing, give the bed a quick clean 🧽 — good adhesion = better first layer and accurate geometry.

Use dry filament (wet filament loves to pop, string, and ruin dimensions).

When using my MakerWorld profiles, make sure the selected material matches what you’re actually printing. Different materials shrink and behave differently — the wrong profile can mean wrong dimensions.

Also, my STL files are designed and dimensioned for PLA. If you print them in PETG, you may need to slightly rescale the model to compensate for different shrinkage.

Clean bed. Dry filament. Correct material. Done 😄
