Description

I have been using my M-VAVE chocolate MIDI footswitch as a page turner for ForScore. It's been a great reliable way to turn the pages of music. However, the small form factor of the M-VAVE means that it tends to slide around on the floor. So I decided to design a base that the M-VAVE can sit in to provide a more stable footswitching experience, and one that has a bit more of a footprint.

NOTE: It looks like theres a couple of variants of this device available. Some devices have the on/off switch and USB-C ports in a slightly different place. This is the one this model fits without modifications - https://amzn.eu/d/0idtdYq7 I'm sure that it wouldn't be too much hassle to make changes. If you send me offset dimensions, I can look at updating the parameters on my model and exporting a variant profile.

I don't use the pedal TRS jack, so this model blanks this area off. But you could just add a negative part to the model in the BambuLabs slicer to open this up.

There's plenty of space around the USB-C port for a charger to be plugged in, and for the on/off switch to be accessed.

I've printed mine in BambuLabs basic black PLA. It will get knocked around, but should be more than fine. I'd be interested if anyone has any improvements to the profile for the stepping artifacts.

Enjoy, and if you have feedback or ideas, let me know in the comments.
