Description

The Pocket Valentine Rose is a minimalist, fast-printing token designed to be the perfect "just because" gift. Whether you’re looking for a desk accessory, a small surprise for a loved one, or a way to test out a new filament color, this rose is designed for maximum charm with zero assembly hassle.

Features

  • No Glue Required: The stem is designed for a perfect friction fit.
  • Eco-Friendly Design: Uses a small scrap of green filament for the stem—perfect for using up those "end of the roll" pieces!
  • Fast Print: Optimized for quick production, making it a great "handout" item for Valentine’s Day events.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Print the Rose: Use your favorite red, pink, or white filament.
  2. The Stem: Take a straight piece of 1.75mm green filament. Snip it to your desired length (usually 3-4 inches works best for the "Pocket" look).
  3. Insert: Simply slide the filament into the hole at the base of the rose head.
    • Tip: If it’s a bit snug, a quick taper of the filament end with a hobby knife makes it slide right in!

Print Settings

  • Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.2mm (0.12mm for extra detail on the petals).
  • Infill: 10-15% (it’s a light model, so it doesn't need much).
  • Supports: None! This model is designed to print cleanly without them.

Sweet little rose. Looks good in a bouquet with the tulips. 🙂 Scaled to 120% and printed with eSUN PLA at 0.08mm layer height. Top!

I need some advice. I just got my A1 and tried printing this. I don't know much about 3d printers, but the print would start messing up either on the first layer, half way through, or towards the end. I searched it up and I'm thinking it's because my build plate wasn't clean enough. First, I printed the boat that comes programmed in it, it did absolutely perfect. I took the boat off with my fingers and my fingers DID touch the build plate. Then, I tried this rose and some other print of a little fox after (from makerworld) and they messed up, unsticking from the plate. Is it because of the oils from my fingers or another problem?

that could definitely be the issue. try washing your build plate with dish soap and water. these are very small so you need good bed adhesion.

Ok, do I need some special type of micro fiber cloth/towel, or could I just use like a paper towel?

microfiber will work better, but not completely necessary, just make sure there are no towel/papertowel fibers left on the build plate.

Very nice and cute rose. When I printed one in Black, I printed it at 0.2 Standard quality, and it was fine, but I knew I could get better detail w higher quality, smaller layers. So I printed the purple ones on High Quality, PLA, all my usual settings, and for some reason, as soon as the file is uploaded from my computer Bambu Studio to my printer (P2S), it swaps my Cooling settings off, and sets it to heating. I had to open the front door and put a fan so that it wouldn't overheat my pla and clog. I have checked all my settings, and I don't know how to stop the from swapping to heating settings on higher quality settings this time.
