Description: This is a rain deflector I designed to prevent water spray and streaks on the driver and passenger side windows while driving in the rain (or when using the windshield washer fluid)

Printing and Assembly Instructions:

  • Parts required: You need to print the curved part ("start") once and the part with a single notch ("end") once
  • Customization: Personally, I printed the middle part twice to extend the deflector higher above the window, allowing the water to drain further up
  • Installation: Simply overlap the notches to fill the gap in the weatherstripping above the window pillar (see pictures)
  • Fitment: If there is still a gap or if the strips move, overlap the notched section with the solid section to increase the overall thickness for a snugger fit
  • Finishing: I didn't glue the parts together, but you can certainly do so once everything is perfectly calibrated

Recommended Settings:

  • Material: ASA is highly recommended to withstand high summer temperatures and UV exposure
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Infill: 100% for durability and strength
