Hello everyone!
To promote the release of Bambu Lab's new Quick Silver TPU filament I was asked to come up with a product that would help show off the filaments unique qualities.
This keyboard rest was something I designed for myself a while ago, so when I was given the opportunity to test out this new filament I knew I had to give it a go.
Introducing the Cushiony Keyboard Wrist Rest.
Cloud-Like Comfort, Sci-Fi Aesthetics
This isn't your standard foam pad. By utilising a complex 3D lattice structure, I created a rest that offers "active" cushioning that compresses exactly where you need it while maintaining support.
Key Features:
- Maximum Breathability: The open lattice design allows air to flow freely through the rest. No more sweaty wrists during long gaming sessions or workdays.
Soft & Cushiony: Printed in Bambu’s TPU 90A in the new "Quick Silver" colourway. It feels soft to the touch but durable enough to bounce back instantly.
UPDATE:
Added new ribbed wrist rest for TPU 95a, it's slightly softer than the other TPU 95a profiles, though, it will probably be too soft for TPU 90a.
Note
The model has been positioned slightly below the build plate to create a larger contact area
The main images show an earlier version of the wrist rest, you can obtain it via STL Download (WRIST_REST10z.obj) It will print without supports if you rotate on it's back and drop below the build plate by 1mm or so
