Description
🔥 Lands of Mordor – Modular Fantasy System
This model represents a small modular set inspired by the dark and iconic imagery of Mordor, conceived as a decorative object but also extremely functional.
The set is composed of three distinct and completely independent elements:
• 🌋 Volcano
• 🏰 Landscape / Mordor Base
• 🗼 Dark Tower
Each part is designed as an autonomous module: there are no interlocking parts, glues, magnets, or mechanical constraints.
The elements can simply be placed side by side to create a complete scenic composition, or used individually.
This philosophy makes the model extremely versatile:
• the volcano can become a container or decorative element
• the tower works perfectly as a dice holder or pen holder
• the central base can be a micro-narrative scenario or a fantasy display
It is therefore not a single object, but a small modular system, adaptable to the desired space and use.
👁 Dark Eye – Optional Element
The Eye is a separate and removable component.
Its geometry is designed to naturally slide between the forks of the tower, finding stability without the need for fixings.
It can therefore be used or removed based on the aesthetic or function of the object.
Two configurations, two atmospheres:
• with Eye → strong and iconic scenic presence
• without Eye → more minimal and architectural look
🧩 Configuration freedom
Thanks to the modular structure, you can:
• print the entire set
• use only the tower
• use only the volcano
• create customized combinations
The absence of fixed interlocks makes the composition free and reinterpretable, transforming the model into a true fantasy design object.
🌿 Possible use as a Fantasy Terrarium
Some elements of the set are also perfectly suited for botanical / decorative use.
In particular, the volcano and the central base can host small plant or scenic compositions, transforming the object into a micro-fragment of a narrative world.
The model is not drilled at the bottom, so it is not intended as a traditional pot, but it works very well as:
• open terrarium
• controlled decorative composition
• fantasy botanical scenario
Ideal arrangements:
• decorative or stabilized mosses
• succulents
✨ Practical advice for real plants
For botanical use, it is recommended to:
• insert a draining layer (expanded clay / perlite)
• avoid water stagnation
• mist rather than water
Alternatively, the model is also perfect for artificial or decorative arrangements.
🖨 Print & Materials
The version shown is made entirely of PLA, without the need for AMS.
Coloring used:
• Volcano & Landscape → Red / Black PLA
• Tower → Black PLA
• Eye → Red PLA
All elements are separate, so multicolor printing is not required.
For the central landscape, a Fuzzy Skin texture was applied, ideal for emphasizing the rock effect and making the surfaces more tactile and realistic in light.
✨ Possible uses
The set can be interpreted in many ways:
• 🎲 Dice holder for D&D / RPG
• 🖊 Pen holder / desk organizer
• 💍 Container for small objects or jewelry
• 🌿 Open terrarium / fantasy botanical composition
• 🏠 Dark / nerd / fantasy decorative element
• 🎁 Original gift idea
