Description

This rotating circular beehive entrance reducer is designed to give beekeepers full control over hive access and ventilation using a single, simple part.

The disc is mounted directly over the hive entrance hole using a single center screw, which acts as a pivot. Once installed, the entrance can be rotated by hand to align different openings with the hive entrance, instantly changing the level of restriction — without removing or replacing any components.

🔄 How It Works

By rotating the disc, you can select between multiple entrance configurations:

  • 🔒 Fully closed section for transport, inspections, or pest control
  • 🐝 Small holes for restricted access (ideal for weak colonies or robbing prevention)
  • 🌬️ Elongated slots for improved airflow while maintaining controlled entry

This makes the entrance suitable for all seasons and colony strengths, from wintering to peak nectar flow.
To be printed with durable materials that can withstand the outside elements, like ABS, ASA or PETG.
