Description

So I'm a disability support worker and many of my clients own and utilise the Disabled Parking Permits whilst out on shift with us.

We have traditionally stored these permits in the sun visor during transit but on many occasions have forgotten to grab them at the end of shift, leading to me having to return them to clients between busy multiple scheduled shifts all around town.

I wanted a hook to stick on my car dash so that the permit was always in clear view as a visual reminder to remove at the end of the shift. Most hooks we found however didn't seem suitable as they have sharp edges that could potentially be dangerous projectiles in case of an accident or airbag deployment etc.

Lucky for me however, one of my clients has an interest in 3D/CAD design and this was an activity that we could work on together during a shift recently ;)

This is what we came up with …

  • Basic and Slimline design
  • Quick print at around 25 minutes
  • Minimal Filament (less than 3 grams)
  • Easy to attach with double sided mounting tape
  • Minimal risk of poking a client's eye out

PLA or PETG suitable

Great for using up some end of roll filament

Hope it helps someone
