Professional two-part mold for DIY soft plastic lure making. This design allows you to pour your own custom-colored 10 cm (4") lures at home.
✨ Project Specifications:
- Lure Length: 100 mm (10 cm) 📏
- Design: Two-piece split mold with integrated alignment pins for a perfect fit every time 🛠️
- Injection/Pouring: Features a wide sprue for easy filling with hot plastisol 💧
⚙️ Recommended Print Settings:
For the best durability and surface finish, I recommend these settings:
- Material: PETG, ABS, or ASA (Better heat resistance than standard PLA) 🧱
- Layer Height: 0.12 mm or 0.16 mm (A finer resolution ensures a smoother lure surface) ✨
- Strength: Min. 4 Walls and 25-30% Infill (Gyroid recommended) 🛡️
- Orientation: Print the mold halves flat on the bed for maximum precision.
💡 Pro Tip:
Before pouring, lightly coat the inside of the mold with a drop of silicone oil or cooking spray. This acts as a release agent and gives your lures a professional high-gloss finish! 🧪✨
