I have been doing some organisation of my work space, such as Gridfinity, and I had an extra Prusa build plate lying around (literally). So I designed this Prusa build plate holder, so that it would not be in the way and getting scratches on it.
When I was designing it, I made sure that it looked cool, that it wasn't wobbly, and that it didn't use too much filament. I am happy to say that I got all of those goals. It looks cool with the chamfers and hexagon pattern, the extended base makes it not able to tip over at all, and the hexagon pattern also makes it not use as much filament!
Sizing
Below is a picture of a Prusa build plate sheet. The width and thickness is all that matters, so if your build plate is 254mm wide and less than 1.8mm thick your build plate should work too!
Print Settings
I added a modifier to the bottom so that it would have a higher infill density, it is included in the print file. You do not need this, but you can add it if you want it to be a bit more stable.
