This model offers complete control over its geometry through easy-to-adjust parameters:

Shoe Settings:

  • rim_thickness (12mm default) - Width of shoe rim that enters the slot
  • grab_depth (40mm default) - How deep the shoe slots extend
  • slot_tolerance (0mm default) - Adjust for looser (+) or tighter (-) fit

Clip Strength:

  • sturdiness (8mm default) - Wall thickness for structural strength
  • pinch_amount (3mm default) - Tapered grip at slot ends
  • rounding_radius (3mm default) - Corner smoothness
  • base_thickness (20mm default) - Overall height and rigidity

Handle Settings:

  • handle_diameter (30mm default) - Size of finger grip ring
  • handle_thickness (10mm default) - Handle wall thickness

🖨️ Printing Recommendations

Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS recommended

  • PLA for lightweight everyday use
  • PETG for enhanced durability and flexibility
  • ABS for maximum strength

Print Settings:

  • Layer Height: 0.2mm for optimal strength
  • Infill: 20-30% (gyroid or grid pattern)
  • Wall Lines: 3-4 perimeters recommended
  • Supports: None required
  • Orientation: Print with the handle facing down (as designed)
  • Print Time: Approximately 2-3 hours at standard settings

Pro Tips:

  • Increase sturdiness to 10mm if using thin-soled shoes
  • Adjust slot_tolerance by +0.5mm if your printer tends to run tight
  • Use 100% infill for commercial/heavy-duty applications
  • Add brim if using ABS to prevent warping

📐 Technical Features

This design incorporates advanced structural engineering:

  • Three internal reinforcement ribs between slots prevent flexing
  • Handle support boss creates stronger handle-body connection
  • Tapered slots with pinch geometry grip shoes securely
  • Rounded corners improve aesthetics and reduce stress concentrations

🎯 Perfect For
