Custom Ice Fishing Rod Handle Collection – Designed for Rod Builders

This collection features a variety of custom-designed handles for ice fishing rod building, developed specifically with 3D printing in mind. Each handle offers a unique ergonomic shape and style, perfect for customizing your next rod build.

Most of these handles have been tested on actual ice rods, but I’ve also included the STEP files for each design in case you’d like to make modifications or adapt them to your own builds.

🧵 Inner Bore Diameter: 7.5 mm — fits most standard ice rod blanks.

🖨️ Recommended Print Settings

• Orientation: Vertical (for best surface finish and strength)
• Walls/Perimeters: 4–5
• Infill: 40% or higher for durability
• Materials: PETG or PLA+ (nylon and carbon-filled filaments also work well for cold-weather toughness)

🎣 Notes

I've used these straight from the printer and glued to the rod, however each design can be sanded, wrapped, or coated for a custom finish once printed — giving your rod a truly one-of-a-kind look and feel.
