Parametric Clip Hook for tubular structure

This is a parametric clip hook designed to securely attach to bathroom towel radiators, but it also works on ladders, drying racks, rails, or any tubular structure.

It can be used to hang towels, clothes, hangers, and any accessory designed to be hung on a hook, making it a versatile everyday organizer for the bathroom, laundry room, or home.

📏 Measuring Tutorial (Caliper)

✅ Step 1 – Measure the bar diameter

• Measure the outside diameter of the bar using a caliper
• Enter the measured value in bar_diameter

📏 Example shown in photo: 25.8 mm
➡️ Recommended input: 25.9 mm (+0.1 mm clearance)

✅ Step 2 – Measure the spacing between two bars

• Measure vertically from:
  • the top of the lower bar
  • to the bottom of the upper bar (the adjacent bar)
• Enter this value in bar_spacing

📏 Example shown in photo: 65.3 mm
➡️ Recommended input: 65.4 mm (+0.1 mm clearance)

🔴 1) Bar Diameter — bar_diameter (mm) (CRITICAL)

Defines the outside diameter of the bar the hook clips onto.

• Example measured: 25.6 mm
• Recommended input: 25.7 mm
• Typical clearance: +0.1 mm

🔴 2) Bar Spacing — bar_spacing (mm) (CRITICAL)

Defines the vertical distance between two adjacent bars.

• Measured from top of lower bar to bottom of upper bar
• Example measured: 65.6 mm
• Recommended input: 65.7 mm
• Typical clearance: +0.1 mm

🟠 3) Hook Thickness — hook_thickness (mm)

Controls the overall strength and rigidity of the hook.

• Default: 4.0 mm
• Towels & clothes: 4.0 mm
• Heavier accessories: 5.0 – 6.0 mm

🟠 4) Hook Width — hook_width (mm)

Defines the overall width of the hook body.

• Default: 25.0 mm
• Increase for more stability
• Decrease for a slimmer look

🟡 5) Hook Tilt Angle — hook_tilt_angle (deg)

Angle of the hook relative to the vertical base.

• 0° = perfectly vertical
• Higher values = hook tilts forward
• Default: 55°
• Recommended range: 40° – 70°

🟢 6) Hook Bridge Length — hook_bridge_length (mm)

Length of the structural bridge between the base and the hook.

• Default: 8 mm
• Increase for better strength and rigidity
• Decrease for a shorter, more compact hook

• Material: PLA / PETG
  (PETG recommended for bathroom humidity & heat)
• Supports: No supports needed
• Infill: 15%
• Wall loops: 3+
• Layer height: 0.2 mm recommended
• Orientation: print flat (as designed)
