Description
This design allows a D-Link DGS-108 switch to be mounted inside a 500×300×60 mm recessed electrical junction box, keeping the equipment hidden and protected behind the cover, ideal for home or professional installations
The bracket is attached to the box with 4 M3 screws
The switch is secured to the bracket using the same type of screws: M3 button head hex screws (Allen), with an approximate length of 8 mm, threaded into heat-set inserts
Switch mounting system:
- Two threaded inserts to hang and secure the DGS-108
- Two upper threaded inserts (optional) that allow screws to be placed as stoppers, preventing the switch from moving upwards when connecting or handling Ethernet cables
The design is intended for:
- Clean and tidy recessed installations
- Standard 500×300×60 mm junction boxes
- Exclusive use of M3 heat-set inserts and standard screws
- Easy assembly and disassembly of the switch
Ideal for hiding the switch while maintaining convenient access to cabling and improving the aesthetics of the installation
