Description

Toyo Steel T-190 and Trusco T-10 inserts

Various inserts for the Toyo Steel T-190 and Trusco T-10 boxes.
Inspiration comes from the design by Taubert Design (link to their model below), but fully designed from scratch.

I needed a different layout because it didn't fit my fountain pens and thought it would be great to have some flexibility.

And now with top shelves for optimal use of space.

Key design details:

  1. Inserts are designed to be a snug fit, so they won't fall out easily.
  2. Two heights of dividers:
    A. Low: plates that start with A. which accept a top shelf (pink)
    C. High or empty and start with C. on which a top shelf doesn't fit or has no support (beige).
  3. Plates marked with B. are the top shelves (green)

Please note that some of the low designs only support the top shelf on certain places, so it won't be as stable as on others.

Stable ones:

A. Pen tray low with side compartment

A. Pen tray staggered low with side compartment (for fountain pens and pens with larger clips)

A. Pen tray low (for regular pens)
A. Four compartments low

A. Eight compartments low

Print instructions:

  1. Meant to be printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle, because all walls are 4x0.42=1,68 to print efficiently without infill in the walls.
  2. Print with 2 walls
  3. 0,2 layer height works fine
  4. No supports needed
  5. No brim needed
  6. PLA works well
  7. Gyroid 15% is fine
  8. 5 top and three bottom layers
