Shimano Ultegra R8170 Di2 Hood Button Pressure Distributor

Why i designed this

I disliked the pointy feel when pressing the Di2 hood shifter buttons. They are very narrow and the feel without gloves was unpleasent. Therefore i designed this small piece that has a interference fit with the button, so when pressing it, the thumb has a larger surface area to interact with.

I hope this is useful for someone, who didn't like the button feel either.
