Description
This project is for 3D printing a cooling fan bracket compatible with the Makerbot 3D printer, model Makerbot Replicator 2. Hereafter, the 3D printer will be referred to as 'the machine', and the cooling fan bracket as 'the bracket'. The inspiration for this project came from the machine's original cooling bracket being damaged and unusable, and the numerous wires leading to a messy cable arrangement. Thus, a bracket that could both secure the cooling fan and organize the messy wires was created. For the 3D modeling tutorial and manufacturing installation process of this project, please refer to the detailed description below. It should be noted that the printing material for this file should be high-temperature resistant materials such as ABS or PC.
