TAURUS KEPD 350 Cruise Missile 1:48 for Cobi Jets
Print Profile(2)

Description
TAURUS KEPD 350 Cruise Missile – Scale 1:48
This model represents the TAURUS KEPD 350 cruise missile in 1:48 scale. It is designed as a display and collector's model and is particularly suitable for dioramas, model building or as an addition to Cobi aircraft models of the same scale
The focus is on a harmonious exterior shape and realistic proportions, while the details were deliberately chosen so that the model can be reliably printed on common FDM 3D printers. This creates a good compromise between appearance, stability, and printability
Modular Wing Variants
The model includes two different wing shapes that are easily interchangeable
This allows the appearance of the cruise missile to be flexibly adapted, for example, for various diorama situations or personal preferences
The wings can be changed without glue and are designed to sit securely but can be easily removed if necessary
Additionally the model includes a separate component for depicting a launch or deployment situation
With this part the cruise missile can be presented as if it has just been fired from the carrier aircraft, similar to what is seen in the example images. This makes the model particularly suitable for dynamic dioramas or display stands
Background: The Real TAURUS KEPD 350
The TAURUS KEPD 350 is a modern air-launched cruise missile, jointly developed by Germany and Sweden. It is designed for use by fighter aircraft and is characterized by its compact design, streamlined casing, and characteristic foldable wings
Typical of the TAURUS is its distinctive fuselage design with clear lines and a flat underside, specifically designed for external transport under aircraft. These external features have been reproduced to scale in this model
Model Creation
The MakerWorld image-to-3D function was used as a starting point for this model
( https://makerworld.com/makerlab/imageTo3d )
However the basic model generated served only as a base and was subsequently extensively revised, adapted, and rebuilt
Among other things the following were performed
- Proportions corrected
- Details re-modeled
- Geometry optimized for 3D printing
- Modular components (e.g. wing variants and deployment representation) added
The published model thus represents an independently further developed result and is not identical to the original image-to-3D output

Cobi offers the individual jets in many different (especially color) versions, which should not affect compatibility with my models, with a few exceptions (see above). If you find any other exceptions, please write to me
