Description

Crawler Tile - Connectable - Mayan Power Source

This is the latest addition to the Explorer series for Connectable Crawler tile based crawler park fun!  In this tile after following the information about power from the Mayan UAP, they discover a scene of ruin!

Temple Gate

The area looks as if a giant hand smashed the area… Boulders strewn about, the temple smashed over.  However, the puzzlement increases as they see the two Obolisks!  It had long been understood in certain lines of study, that the Egyptians had Obelisks that were used to transmit power throughout a region.

A Mayan Obelisk?  This had never been discovered before with this type of layout, or language.

As they move about - was that their imagination?  The very air seemed to build a tense feeling - the hairs starting to stand out on their bodies.  Worried they started to move back to their vehicle.

A sharp CRACK!, followed by the smell of ozone, filled the sunny cloudless day.

Could this be the power source that the UAP mentioned?  One thing was for certain, something very unknown was happening at this location.

Hurrying, they moved back to study the rest of the symbology on the temple, with special attention to the Obelisk.  They had just finished their final rubbings of some of these, when they felt the tension in the air starting to raise again.

They hurried back to their vehicle, getting inside just as the air was rent by another sharp CRACK!, this time they saw it as well - a large ball of… energy? … blue green and swirling, appeared for just  a second, moving between the Obelisks, before touching the temple and crackling out of existence in an instant.

Worried - they made ready, marking their maps and studying the new found information.  One area of many parts stood out from their studies of the Obelisk, their seemed to be directions that coincided with other areas discovered so far.  They agreed about one thing they could understand, they all seemed to point in the same general area.  Deep into this unknown area of an unknown jungle, they reviewed the new information and clues, and started off towards the nearest of these, with the meaning of Gate or Passage?  Uncertain silence was their only sound.

Scale

This is intended to suit both 1:30th crawler like the Axial SCX30, and the 1:24th like the Axial SCX24.  I find the most fun at this general tile size to be with the 1:30th crawlers.

Profiles

There are two profiles, one for a 0.6 nozzle, and one for a 0.4 nozzle.

Connectable Tiles

You will find many connectable tiles here!  Search for “Crawler Park” or “Crawler Tile” - or items such as SCX30/34 and such, and Maker World will show you suggestions along these lines.  Some of the ones that I have printed and like so far are from by @StevenDH here and there are many others like a set here by @magicfilament here.  Some that look great, but I haven't printed yet are some from @PCub3D here.
