Description

The Nintendo 64 is my favorite console of all time so it was due time for me join my love for it with my passion for 3d modeling. Recently I was working on modeling a drawer system to store various 3d printer parts and I suddenly realized I could make it could like an N64. More : I could make it stackable under my N64s ! I could not resist but to make it happen so here is my take on a drawer system storage designed to be compatible with a Nintendo 64 !
I've push it up to designing the pull button to look like the eject button from the n64 disk drive.

So obviously this is the perfect item to store you N64 cartridge, memory pak, controller… But imho it's also the perfect jewelery box => you should consider it for valentine's day ;)

Print profiles all contains 3 different height for drawers : 90mm, 60mm and 45mm. You can stack them so it's up to you to decide which sizes you need. Only the 90mm one can contain a N64 original controller.  Internal dimensions are 193,6x157mm

There are 3 print profiles provided depending on your printers capabilities :

  • one color only for non ams printers
  • simplified ams => glue is required for the logo
  • full ams version => requires 5 colors in one print. Unless you have a vortex system printer like H2C I would not recommand it has a lot of waste would be expected

Love the print but the drawers stick really bad to the point of when you pull on the little knobs only on the right hand side I end up ripping them off trying to force the drawers open. Otherwise it looks really good I just wish there was a way to make the drawers open easier I tried sanding them down a little bit and they still stick really hard.

The fact the opening stick a little is by design in order to avoir them to open by themselves while moving the assembly. However it should not create any issue by itself, it's just a little stickyness that should not damage the handler by forcing. Did you change anything in the print profiles such as layer height or the nozzle size ?

Hi, looks really great!! Is it possible to create a profile for the P1S? I'd love to print it too...

Hi. Not sure what you mean, all the profiles are compatible with P1S.

Thanks for reporting this. I confirm that I selected these printers in my print profiles so this is not a normal behavior. I checked some other print profiles of me and its happens for some others too. When I uploaded them they were properly attached. I've sent a report bug to maker world, but in the mean time you can download the profiles from a desktop and print from bambu studio.

I love the print but the drawers all stick and are very difficult to pull open with the handle only on the right side it seems to just jam on all three drawers. and when I pull on them it just wants to rip the handle out because it only has maybe what one and a half threads?
