Description

THIS STILL WORKS, BUT THERE IS A NEW VERSION!
https://makerworld.com/en/models/2867371-stryfe-talon-adapter-v2

Stryfe Talon Adapter:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Based on "Talon mag adapter body (modified)"
https://www.printables.com/model/978004-talon-mag-adapter-body-modified/files
by @gargunkle
* The magwell is based on "Wild Card Katana/Talon Adapter"
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3245243 by captainslug
* The adapter is not compatible with the Stryfe magazine sensor (either remove
the nub that stops the trigger or remove the whole thing)
* May work with other models, including non-electric blasters, but I have not
tested this.

Changes to the original design:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Moved the notch for the adapter retention for a more positive hold in the
blaster.
* Enlarged and moved the spring retention holes in both the lever and the
insert to allow for a more powerful spring.
* Adjusted the adapter height for a tighter fit in the blaster. This helped
prevent some feed issues.
* Adjusted screw positioning to make everything neater.
* Added a lower frame around the magwell. Because why not.
* Replaced release lever with a longer version that includes an angle for
better grip.
* Lightly beveled the magwell for easier magazine indexing.

Materials:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2x M3x6mm Pan Head Screw
1x Spring - I used a 0.7*7*15mm 8 lap (0.027x0.3x0.59), but a pen spring works

Compatibility:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tested with 2 different model Nerf Stryfe, mainly with trash darts that I
picked up off a field (on purpose to see how they would do). All my testing was
done with PETG, but I would expect other materials would be fine, too. In the
final version of the model, I got zero failures to feed except one where the
magazine follower did not press up the dart. Actual testing Stryfes, darts,
and magazines are included in the pictures.

Instructions:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Peel out the area covering the adapter retention notch in the adapter body. I
can usually just grab it.
* Add the latch to insert block and use a spring to help it hold in your talon
magazine. Pictures are provided.
* Slide the insert and latch into the tall side of the adapter body as shown in
the pictures.
* Secure insert block to the adapter with one or two M3x6mm screws.
* Insert it into the magwell.
* Slide a magazine into the adapter and try it out!
