Optimized silica desiccant containers for AMS 2 Pro systems
Product Description
These specially designed containers are for holding silica gel (desiccant) inside the Bambu Lab AMS to ensure consistently low humidity and protect filament quality from hygroscopic damage.
 

Secure Closure: 

The lid is equipped with a precise snap-in mechanism. This prevents accidental opening and ensures that the silica granules remain securely enclosed in the container even during vibrations or handling.

Anti-Rattle Mechanism (Rear Containers):
The rear units are equipped with an integrated spring suspension (tensioning device). This ensures a firm fit in the housing, eliminates vibrations during the printing process, and prevents annoying rattling noises.
 

Optimized Airflow: 

The hexagonal honeycomb pattern maximizes the contact surface between the ambient air and the desiccant without compromising the structural integrity of the container.

Maintenance-Friendly Design:
The geometry of the containers allows for easy removal without having to remove the filament spools from the AMS. This enables quick replacement or regeneration of the desiccant during operation or short printing breaks.

Integrated Monitoring (Optional):
As shown in the illustrations, the central unit has a recess for a digital hygrometer to precisely monitor humidity in real time.
