Description

Boost Me (for free)

We only need a few more points to get the H2D for free! Please help us get there :)

The Jambacase R2, Designed and tested in Amsterdam by KM Design studio.

This case holds all your rolling supplies for easy storage or for on the go.
It holds:

  • 55mm herb grinder
  • King size papers (115mm x 30mm)
  • Magnetic bin (for future accessories)
  • 6mm or 9mm Activated carbon filter
  • Space for filterbook
  • Lighter
  • Poking tool

The blue bin is interchangable or can be left out, I personally run it with just a magnetic bracket to hold down anything I put in that space (Baggies)

The Hinges make use of a small piece of filament and the magnets used are 5x3mm, For the closing of the case i use double the magnets for extra holding power.

Suggested for accesories or changes may be left below

first of all, thank you for the great design — I really like it! I was able to download the file and print it successfully without any issues. I did notice a couple of small things that could maybe be improved: the 9 mm filters seem to be just a little too long, so they don’t quite fit into the case. The 6 mm filters, on the other hand, fit perfectly. It would be amazing if the length of the 9 mm version could be adjusted slightly. Also, the grinder sits a bit loosely inside the case, so a small adjustment to the diameter might help it fit more snugly. I’ve attached a few pictures so you can better see what I mean. One more small idea: I’m not entirely sure what the top compartment is intended for, but it could be really nice if it could hold a small tray or bowl — something to mix material in. I think that would be a great addition to the design. Thanks again for your work, I really appreciate it!

Thank you very much, that’s very kind. I just have one problem: when I import it into my Anycubic Next Slicer, it shows errors. Could it be because it’s a Bambu 3MF file?

Wow, this part is very nice, but would it be possible to get the editable file? I would like to adapt it so that my flowermill grinder fits in there, and half with 6mm and the other side with 9mm activated carbon filters, I would be happy to receive an answer :)

How big is the grinder? I am wanting to adjust the model for myself aswell as i have a 63mm grinder i want to fit inside.I can adjust the model and upload it if you tell me your grinder size, I also have a 9mm and 7mm filter version already I can also upload. I could upload a Step file but im also planning to sell printed models so i probably cannot give out the design for now.

Hey, thanks a lot for the reply already. I would really appreciate it if that could work out. The dimensions of my grinder are 54 mm in width and 41 mm in height. I would be really happy about a version that fits these grinder dimensions and includes 50% 5.9 mm filters and 50% 9 mm filters.

i've just uploaded a print profile for a adjusted case, it is slightly thicker to accomodate the 41mm grinder, it also has half 6mm half 9mm filters

Cool thing! But I don't quite understand what is meant by the blue box. The model doesn't contain a box here. Or am I overlooking something?

Thanks for your comment! The blue bin can be downloaded as STL, I did not include it on the sliced plate. It is meant to be interchangable for different versions, This blue one simply holds your baggie with herbs or chocolate. I've personally printed it from TPU
