Description
These are just like my popular corner clamps for dry fitting wood joints, but with tabs to help with alignment to tops of workpieces. I received feedback that my other clamps were hard to align, so I added 3mm tabs to the inside and outside brackets. This means that the minimum thickness of material that can be clamped with these is +3mm. I also made them thicker for added strength and added more walls to the print profile. These can be clamped with small squeeze type clamps or lightweight F style clamps. Even though I made them quite robust, I don't recommend cranking down on them with heavy duty clamps as they may distort. They are meant for more light duty, dry fitting of wood corners before glue up or brad nailing. If you need an angle clamp that you can crank down on to force twisted boards into alignment, I recommend using a non 3d printed set. Having said all that, I have found these to be plenty strong enough for mockup and fitting of wood panels/corners. If these are useful to you I would appreciate a five star rating and a BOOST!
