Smaller states use 8x3mm magnets (paid link, Thanks) inside of the model

At the 24th level, pause to insert 18mm x3mm magnets (paid link, thanks) inside the model.

Some of the smaller states have an optional two-town print since magnets wouldn’t fit them, so they had to be fused with other states, with only three states on the East Coast affected.

*Not all holes need to be filled with magnets; you can also glue smaller parts to larger ones. I prefer strong magnets, so I leave that choice to the person doing the printing!

I love this, but do this, take the largest state, Texas, or California by length and fit that to a full plate size of an A1 or X1C or something like that, then put the lego dots on top of that. This will make for a huge map that I would love to print and mount to my wall for my kid to play with for years.

each one is already sized. you should be able to scale the Texas or California piece and then scale each other state the same mount

but if I did this the lego dots would get bigger right? they would not stay lego size?

Yes it would increase the size of the lego pieces. Making it larger would require to scale the things that you want to add to it the same size. Without redesigning/adding more lego nobs, there is no way to scale it and keep the lego nobs the same.

Have you thought about making an outline board of the US to have a puzzle of the states. I work in a school and it would be a great tool.

It won’t let me print on an A1 mini. Can you just split it up into a few more plates so it fits on my build plate

I did this to remove 40 extra color changes. I try and make my designs as efficient as possible to cater to the normal person without a H series This can be easily reversed you would like the file before the optimization send me a dm and I can send it back

I haven't printed this yet, but just because you took my idea and made them fit together, boosting... I'd love a huge map but still lego size dots..

I scaled these up to 150% across the board and they printed beautifully. Do you happen to have Hawaii? Also, Do you know anyone who would be willing to make them for international countries?
