Print in Place hinged box (No Hardware needed)
Print Profile(6)

Description
I’ve tried a lot of boxes here and couldn’t find a print-in-place hinged option that checked all the boxes—so I made one: no extra hardware, and a lid design that doesn’t leave a ton of dead/empty space.
Because the lid footprint differs from the base, orientation matters. The photos show the small version printed in PLA, and this is the most reliable print orientation I’ve found—especially for keeping the hinge clean.
Supports: Auto-supports gave me inconsistent results, so I included purpose-built supports designed specifically for this model. If you prefer, support-free versions are included as well.
Tip: If your slicer supports it, PETG as interface material worked out pretty well for me when testing with automatic supports.
Notes: If you’re on a bed-slinger, this orientation may be a bit more demanding—make sure your adhesion and cooling are dialed in.
This model is fully parameterized in Fusion. If you want a specific size or variation added, tell me the dimensions you want and I’ll add it.
