M3x6 SHCS Machine Screw (20PCS) - AA036

Description

Boost Me (for free)

Did you enjoy this model? If you did, I’d really appreciate your support! A simple boost from you can make a big difference and best of all its free! Thank you!

Here is a fairly simple design to hold a PIR sensor (Specifically the ZG-204ZL) on an overhead cover. I wanted this design to function as a motion sensor at my front door, triggering various automations.

You will need the following to assemble this model,

  • 2x M3x6 (AA036)

  • 2x M3 Self-Tapping Screws

To assemble this model follow these steps.

  1. Install the PIR sensor into the main enclosure (Pair it before you start!)

  2. Align the enclosure lid.

  3. Use the M3x6mm screws to secure the lid (You are tapping into the plastic itself so this might be a little hard)

  4. Secure the mount in the location you want the sensor

  5. Slide the enclosure into the mount

  6. And enjoy your new outside sensor!
