Description
This project is a Vixen-style dovetail mounting adapter designed for the Berlebach Tripod Report 372.
The part was 3D printed in PETG due to its significantly higher strength compared to PLA, as well as improved interlayer adhesion. For assembly, you will need an M6 nut and an M6 bolt with a length of 25 mm.
Optionally, an M4 bolt with a minimum length of 10 mm and a press-fit brass threaded insert can be used as an additional locking mechanism.
The design does not interfere with folding or transporting the tripod. One side of the dovetail is enclosed, allowing safe use even without the locking mechanism (threaded insert and M4 bolt).
As shown in the attached photos, the mount works perfectly with the ASIAIR Mini astrophotography computer.
