Description
A small diorama inspired by the iconic Brazilian “orelhão” public phones from São Paulo. For decades they were a familiar part of the city’s streets, and as they are now being gradually removed, this piece works as a simple tribute to their presence and design.
Model scale: ~1:20 (based on ~2.20 m original height)
Model height: ~11 cm

Printing
- Parts split across plates to improve print quality
- Optimized to reduce filament usage and purge
- Orientation, supports, and cuts already prepared
- Supports are designed for easy removal; detach parts gently, pliers should not be necessary.
- Printing without AMS is possible but may require manual filament swaps and can affect the floor pattern; all other parts print normally in single color.

🧩 Assembly (recommended)
- Handle parts gently during assembly to avoid stress or breakage
- Lightly sand contact areas for a better fit
- Apply a small amount of glue where needed
- Glue the pole to the base and let it dry fully
- Fix the shell onto the pole
- Place and glue the floor plate on the base
- Once the base is fully dry, shape the phone cable if needed. A quick, careful pass with a lighter can make the filament slightly more flexible
- Attach the phone unit to the shell (hot glue recommended for easier alignment)
