Description
IKEA Skådis L-Mount | Under-Desk Bracket
This L-Mount allows you to mount your IKEA Skådis pegboard directly underneath your desk. It creates a super clean, organized look and keeps your desktop surface free of clutter.
📋 Model Details & Print Settings
Material Recommendation: I highly recommend using PETG. PLA may deform (creep) or crack under the constant load and tension over time.
Filament Usage: The model requires approximately 50g of filament.
⚠️ IMPORTANT - Print Orientation: Please print the included screws horizontally (laying flat) on the print bed. This is crucial for their structural integrity so the layer lines don't snap when tightening.
🔧 Assembly & Hardware
To install the mount securely, please follow these steps:
1. Hardware: You will need 9x M3 screws (wood screws) to attach the mounts to the underside of your desk.
2. Connecting the Board: Take the printed screw and insert it from the back through the Skådis pegboard.
3. Push it through the L-Mount.
4. Secure the assembly firmly with the printed nut.
5. Finally, screw the mount under your desk using the M3 screws.
Why do it this way? Please attach the mounts to the board before screwing them to the desk. It is extremely difficult to align the Skådis holes if you mount the brackets to the desk first.
