Moza Brake Pedal Mod

Description
To create the most realistic brake pedal feel possible, a 2-spring system was designed that closely mimics the characteristic curve of real vehicle brake pedals.
Vehicle manufacturers usually specify brakes either by a travel-to-brake torque or a force-to-travel characteristic curve. The latter can be replicated particularly easily with a system of two springs of different stiffnesses.
The combination of a soft and a significantly stiffer spring is designed so that from approximately 25% remaining pedal travel, the stiff spring becomes effective, while the softer (yellow) spring is fully compressed (see figure "Travel-Force Characteristic Curve").

This makes the end of the pedal travel clearly perceptible, which allows for more precise modulation, especially in racing conditions.
Note on software:
For realistic behavior, the non-linear characteristic curve should be selected in the Moza pedals driver (see figure).

The development of this model took some time – from designing the spring characteristic curve through several test prints to the final tuning on the pedal.
Additionally, material and procurement costs were incurred.
If the model helps you or improves your setup, I would appreciate a boost as a small support ❤️
Thank you very much!
