Book nook Silksong

This book nook depicts the scene where Hornet falls with her cage into the verdant cave in the game Hollow Knight Siksong. Inside, you'll see Hornet, the broken cage, and vegetation with pickle-shaped bushes at the top. Almost the entire model is 3D Printed, but some decorative elements need to be printed on paper to be glued onto the 3D prints. This model was created as part of the Book Nook contest organized by Bambu Lab, so we thank them for their support during the model's design.

This model was designed with Blender then modified for printing on the maker lab. AI was used as a tool to create the background image by allowing the character and cage to be removed.

Printing instructions:

• First, the model prints plate by plate. Some plates require special settings; use tree supports for the character and uncheck the "only on print bed" option. I apologize, but I did not print the cage in this position so I cannot advise you on printing parameters, but if you print it with the base placed on the plate, I used classic supports with the "only on print bed" option checked.
• The supports are tricky to remove for the cage because it is thin, but even if bits tear off, it just adds to the damaged look present in the game.
• Some parts do not fit well enough and require glue or light filing.

I have attached the image to glue. You can outline the pieces with a pencil then cut a little further inside. You can choose any bush and cut it to complete the small ones. For the large one, you must use the one circled in red. For the sides, cut the large image in half. I personally darkened the sides for better blending with the black edges using a marker.
