Dremel hot insert press adapter
Print Profile(1)

Description
Hello everyone, I had found many projects for inserting the soldering iron for threaded inserts into the Dremel workstation, but they all removed the Dremel itself, so I wanted to create an adapter without having to disassemble the Dremel, so that both devices could be mounted.
This adapter consists of only two pieces and just 13g of material, so the soldering iron can be attached and detached whenever you want without wasting time.
The important thing is to keep the Dremel rotated 90 degrees to access the lock for mounting and dismounting tools.
I designed the piece that goes into the Dremel workstation slightly larger, so it can be snugly fitted into the plastic.
It will be a bit difficult to get it in at first, but once it's in, it will be very secure.
So don't hate me when you have to force it in, a little patience, or at most, file it down a bit. I didn't touch it at all.
For the front piece where the soldering iron goes, you can insert a soldering iron with a 16.5 diameter shaft, and to fix it I used a very normal M3 screw with a nut.
In the future, I might think about a small modification to rotate the soldering iron for more freedom of movement.
However, these 13g of material will save you a lot of time right away.
I hope you like it.
Happy printing everyone
