Introducing the Ares, an agile, high-speed exploration rover designed to conquer the jagged cliffs and treacherous dust plains of Mars.
This will be my the debut model in an upcoming series of modular Martian vehicles and rockets, the Ares sets the stage for a fully 3D-printable fleet.
This is an original, personal design created with the maker in mind. It balances rugged, high-performance aesthetics with a practical printing experience:
- No AMS Required: Designed for easy printing without the need for multi-material systems.
- Maker-Friendly: While most pieces snap together effortlessly, a some glue is needed to ensure your rover is sturdy enough for even the most "dangerous" terrain.
