<h2>X2D Front Glass Door Privacy Cover</h2>A privacy cover that mounts to the front glass door of the Bambu Lab X2D. It blocks the onboard chamber camera from seeing out into your room, keeps unwanted figures out of your time-lapses, and protects the glass from scratches and scuffs — while the mesh pattern still lets you peek in to check on a print without opening the door.This is a resized version adapted specifically for the X2D front glass door (other versions were built for the P1S and similar doors, which use a smaller door).<h3>What you get</h3>Four equal panels that tile together in a 2×2 grid to cover the full front glass door. Each panel prints comfortably on the X2D bed.<ul><li>Total assembled size: ~310 × 365 mm</li><li>Each panel: 155 × 182.5 mm</li><li>The four panels meet in the middle to form one clean rectangle</li></ul><blockquote>Tip: Measure your own door&#39;s clear glass before printing. Glass area can vary slightly, and it&#39;s easy to rescale the panels in the slicer if needed.</blockquote><h3>Print Settings (important — this is what creates the mesh)</h3>The &#34;mesh&#34; look isn&#39;t modeled into the part — it&#39;s the exposed infill showing through, because the top and bottom shells are set to zero. Raise it for more privacy and less visibility; lower it for larger holes that let more light through but show more of the inside.<h3>Filament</h3><ul><li>PLA — easiest. Mount it to the outside of the glass to avoid warping from chamber heat.</li><li>PETG — stronger and more heat-resistant. Mount it to the inside of the glass.</li></ul>Black gives the best privacy.<h3>Mounting</h3><ol><li>Clean the glass thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol.</li><li>Cut double-sided mounting tape (or foam tape) into roughly 6 × 6 mm squares. For a removable option, use mounting putty instead.</li><li>Stick squares to the corners on the back of each panel.</li><li>Press the panels onto the glass in the 2×2 layout, butting the edges together so there&#39;s no gap in the middle.</li></ol><h3>Notes</h3><ul><li>Handle / hinges: These panels have no cutouts, since the X2D handle and hinge positions differ from the P1S. If a panel overlaps the door handle, trim that corner with a hobby knife or file after printing — PLA and PETG cut easily.</li><li>Fit: If a panel rides up onto the black frame, trim the edge rather than reprinting. Privacy Cover for X2D Front Glass Door

I designed a privacy screen that can be mounted to the front glass of the printer, but still allows you to see in to check on prints without having to open the door. It helps prevent unwanted figures from showing up in your time-lapses, protects your privacy from the onboard camera, as well as protects the glass from scratches, scuffs, or accidental dings.&nbsp;I printed using a 0.6 mm Hardened Steel Nozzle for speed and strength. I&#39;ll upload both a 0.4 mm Nozzle Profile as well as this one. There will also be a profile for complete blackout, and as well as a Honey Comb Version as well. If you&#39;d like me to make one so you can hang attachments from it, I can do that as well.<boostme><boosttitle>Boost Me</boosttitle><boostcontent>Your privacy matters! Cover the front glass to prevent your printer&#39;s camera from seeing into your room!</boostcontent></boostme>&nbsp;For Mounting: I used Scotch ® Clear Mounting Tape cut up into squares about 6 x 6mm.
