Description

This is a dust cover for the Dremel Stylo 2050.

It was designed to prevent sanding powder, dust, and foreign matter from splashing directly onto your face, eyes, and other surfaces when sanding small objects.

The Dremel dust cover can be folded or opened.

We found that the Dremel dust cover interfered with the grinding of deep-hole parts,

so we made it movable to avoid interference.

The PC transparent cover is smaller than before, but I'll have to re-evaluate the size after using it.

The dust cover can be freely raised and lowered (flip-top), allowing you to easily access and machine deep-hole workpieces by opening the cover upward.

O-ring requires printing with TPE or TPU material.

To open and close smoothly, the rubber rings on both sides of the hinge were assembled with TPE primer.

-The rotating hinge of the Dremel Hinge has a TPE or TPU rubber O-ring inserted.
The rubber ring can be printed out of TPE or TPU, or a standard rubber O-ring can be used instead. The purpose of the rubber ring is to ensure the hinge operates without loosening.

-For models larger than the Dremel 3000, the mounting size may need to be adjusted or modified. I haven't tried this yet.

Materials required:

PC 1.0 thickness 1ea (Color: transparent,  Size: 70 x 70 mm)

M3 x 12mm screw 1ea,

M3 x 20mm screw 1ea,

M3 nuts 2ea.
