FX Impact M4 .30 Speedloader (20 shot)

This is a 3-part speedloader system designed for the FX Impact M4 .30 magazine, focused on speed, simplicity, and reliability, without replacing or modifying the original magazine internals.

What it is

The system consists of:

• Feeder / Shaker – pellets are dropped in and gently shaken until they fall tip-first into the holes
• Loader – receives the pellets from the feeder and interfaces with the magazine
• Loader Lid – closes the loader and allows controlled release of a single pellet, required to preload the magazine

With the loader and lid combined, the unit is fully closed and ready for storage or transport.

The original FX Impact M4 magazine is still required!
No springs, no disassembly, no permanent modifications.

How it works

1. Drop pellets into the feeder and gently shake → pellets transfer tip-first into the feeder
2. Place the loader on top of the feeder and flip → pellets transfer skirt-first into the loader
3. Remove the feeder and close the loader with the magnetic lid
4. Store the loaded unit, or when ready to load:
   • slightly twist the lid to release one pellet
5. Use that pellet to preload the original FX magazine
6. Place the loader onto the magazine and flip → pellets transfer in the correct orientation into the magazine

Alignment is handled via the keyhole and lug geometry, matching the original FX magazine indexing.

Integrated magnet system (important)

Both the loader and loader lid are designed with embedded magnet pockets:

• 6× magnets in the loader
• 6× magnets in the loader lid
• Magnet size: 6 × 3 mm (round) (Amazon)

The supplied print files include a built-in pause at the correct layer height, allowing magnets to be placed during the print.

Once installed:

• The lid stays firmly in place
• Even when fully loaded, the connection remains secure
• Multiple loaders can be preloaded and stacked, ready for a shooting session

This makes it very practical to prepare several magazines in advance.

Performance & testing

• Tested with JSB Match / Exact Diabolo .30 – 50.15 gr
• Wrong-orientation / misfeed rate < 2%

Achieved through:

• very precise hole sizing
• extensive fine-tuning and many test prints
• guided pellet alignment instead of forced orientation

In normal use, nearly all pellets drop correctly without extra handling.

A small “rescue ring” is also included, allowing easy removal of a misoriented pellet from the feeder without emptying everything.

Print & material recommendations

• PLA works fine
• No supports required
• Print orientation as supplied
• Multi-color printing supported (directional arrow)

Scope & notes

• This design is for .30 caliber only
• Other calibers (.22 / .25 / etc.) are not included
• Geometry is very tightly matched to the FX Impact .30 magazine
  → scaling is not recommended

Requests for other calibers may be considered in the future, but this release is shared as-is.
This design required a lot of testing and iteration to achieve reliable results.

Why this design

Commercial FX Impact speedloaders are often:

• expensive
• over-engineered
• closed-source or unavailable

This design focuses on:

• fast loading
• minimal parts
• practical, printable geometry
• giving back to the 3D printing community

I strongly prefer open designs over closed solutions.
