Hello,
I created this sliding window strike plate for a bay window purchased from CCL. The original strike plates were broken.
This model can be printed in PLA, but PETG or ABS remains ideal. Personally, I printed it in PETG.
On the original part, there was a small metallic section with a thread that I did not reproduce. To overcome this problem, I drilled the aluminum of the bay with a 4 mm drill bit, then inserted a plasterboard screw. This holds the part firmly in place and ensures thermal sealing.
