Description

Update 03.01.2022: version v3 is available. The bend radius has been changed to roughly 40mm to address the binding issue, which could create problems when loading stiff/rough filaments.

Update 29.12.2022: added new version PTFE_Guide_v2.3mf. The overall height has been shortened again, to prevent the top of the guide from scraping the front of the housing, when unloading filament (see last two pictures).

 

For this remix, I made a few changes to address some issues I experienced.

  • Widened the outer base by 0.8mm, as the original guide would break quiet easily, when pushing it on to the bracket.
  • Mirrored the position of the struts to the front, so the tube radius is not too tight.
  • The overall height has been reduced, to clear the PTFE tube from hitting the top glass.

No supports are needed, when you print it on it's back.

Printed in 0.2mm layer height, with ASA Fillamentum Extrafill Anthracite Grey scaled to 103% - to accommodate shrinkage.
