Description

This is a custom front license plate holder I designed to mount a license plate directly onto a flat car bumper without drilling into the bumper itself.

The design is optimized for M6 screws with 0.25 inch (≈6.35 mm) diameter and 0.75 inch thread length. It includes 6 mm-deep recessed nut pockets, allowing the nuts to sit flush and stay securely in place during installation.

If you are using shorter M6 screws, you can easily adjust the model by cutting on slicer to match your hardware.

The holder is intended for cars with a flat bumper surface. I tested this on my BMW i3, and it fit perfectly. For installation, I mounted it using strong outdoor-rated double-sided tape, which provides a clean, drill-free attachment while remaining solid at driving speeds.

Notes

  • Designed for flat bumpers only
  • No bumper drilling required
  • Thickness can be customized for different screw lengths
  • Uses standard M6 nuts and screws
