Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
Description
The Volta Lira is the most dramatic silhouette in the Volta series. Featuring a heavy, bulbous base that transitions into a long, elegant neck, it is specifically designed to highlight single stems or delicate crepe paper flower arrangements.
Key Features
- Vase Mode Optimized: Perfect for a single continuous extrusion (Spiral Vase Mode).
- High-Speed Print: Print time is under 30 minutes.
- Dimensions: This model is 140 mm tall.
- Single Variant: A refined, narrow-neck design that ensures single flowers or branches stay perfectly upright.
Print Settings for Best Results
To achieve maximum durability and a high-end finish, use these settings:
- Nozzle: 0.8 mm (Recommended for a robust, thick wall).
- Layer Height: 0.4 mm.
- Mode: Vase Mode / Spiralize Outer Contour.
- Filament Choice: It is strongly recommended to use Matte PLA. The matte finish makes layer lines virtually invisible, providing a smooth look even at a 0.4 mm layer height.

Stability & Ballast Hack
Due to the high center of gravity when holding flowers, I recommend using aquarium gravel in the base:
- Weighted Stability: Adding gravel provides essential ballast to prevent tipping.
- Cost-Effective: Aquarium stones are a cheap, professional-looking solution.
- Aesthetic Tip: Using light-colored gravel looks great if you print in transparent filaments, as it fills the wide base beautifully while holding the stems in place.
